Summit County American Red Cross Amateur Radio Club

KC8RLC

The Summit County American Red Cross Amateur Radio Club is now in standby mode. This means that we don't actually have regular meetings or any specific activities. The reasons for this are:
  1. Summit County ARES is now capable of doing those things that the club was originally formed to do - namely support the Red Cross when needed.
  2. General interest in yet another club has dropped dramatically and meetings were sparsely attended.
In addition to putting the club on standby, we will be trimming the roster. If you are not a Red Cross volunteer, you will be removed. If you do not have an amateur radio license, you will be removed. No new members will be added to the roster.

An email reflector has been established to spread general news and discussion. All current members will be subscribed to this list and you will receive an email describing the list. If your email address in the roster is invalid then you won't be on the list. AOL email addresses cannot be used for the list. If you choose to unsubscribe from the list you will be removed from the membership roster also.

Our
Constitution still applies.
